Billy Tringali is an award-winning researcher, speaker, and faculty librarian at Indiana University Indianapolis. Tringali is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Anime and Manga Studies and Academic Showrunner of JAMS@AX, creating the first-ever academic journal and convention partnership. Billy was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker in 2025, dubbing him the “Anime Apostle.”
